Rob Read - Author

Originally born and raised in England, the author, now retired, resides in the Côte-d'Or of Burgundy, France, an area renowned for some of the best red wines in the world.​

A writer of short stories, his genre of preference is horror and the macabre, of which, several in the past have been published in various anthologies. These include:

His current WIP is a novel entitled 'From a Shallow Grave' the story of a writer living in France, who, while attempting to clear an overgrown patch of garden, discovers a human skull. Using knowledge of the occult, he summons the ghost of the victim in a necromancy ritual, a young lady-of-the-night who was brutally murdered and interred some two hundred years earlier. With the ghost as his mentor, they embark on a search for the historical cult that decreed her death.
